UMBC Police have alerted the campus community of another robbery that took place just minutes from the campus. While the suspect was unarmed and the victim uninjured, the thief still got away with money and was last seen running toward campus. If you have any information, please contact the UMBC Police.

Filed under: News | Comments (0)Baltimore County Police received a report of a robbery on Friday, November 6, at approximately 9:45 p.m. that took place in the 900 Block of Hooper Avenue, east of the UMBC Campus. The offense occurred on the street and the suspect took an undetermined amount of currency. The victim was uninjured in the offense. The suspect did not display, nor feign a weapon and was last seen fleeing on foot from the 900 Block of Hooper Avenue towards Maiden Choice Lane.
The suspect is described as an African American male, 20 to 25 years of age, approximately 6 feet and 2 inches height; and was last seen wearing a light colored shirt and blue jeans.
The Baltimore County Police Department is investigating this incident as it happened off the campus of UMBC. Although the suspects in the case are described as being African American, if anyone observes anything or anyone suspicious, please call the UMBC Police on campus at 410-455-5555 or dial 911 if away from the campus. We urge everyone to be alert and use caution while traveling on and around the UMBC campus.
