On a cold, wet, and rainy day the women’s soccer team dropped a home match against Albany 1-0.

In the 18th minute Great Dane forward Ashley Tirabassi headed in a cross from Katie Grant for the lone goal of the game.

Just three minutes later UMBC recorced their only shot in the game when Danielle Kell took a shot from 23-yards out.  The Albany goalkkeeper didn’t even have to move to save it.  UMBC was outshot 20-1 in the game while goalkeeper Mo Van Vlerah recorded nine saves and Erin Johnson has one block.
