“Off-Campus Robbery:
Police received information that on Sunday June 21, 2009 at 6:52 P.M. a Black male approximately 6 feet in height, wearing all dark clothing displayed a handgun and robbed the Mars Supermarket located on Maiden Choice Lane in Arbutus. The unknown suspect may have been injured before he fled from the area. The suspect fled from the area in a dark colored car.
The Baltimore County Police Department is investigating this incident as it happened off the campus of UMBC.
If anyone observes anything or anyone suspicious, please call the UMBC Police on campus at 410-455-5555, or dial 911 away from the campus.
We urge everyone to be alert and use caution.
Suspect Description: Unknown Black Male approximately 6 feet in height, last seen wearing dark clothing. He may have visible signs of injury. He may be still armed with a handgun. No Further Description. ”
