Lacrosse down 3-2 to Hopkins
By: Alex Pyles -

The first period is over at chilly UMBC Stadium and Johns Hopkins leads the Retrievers in part thanks to taking advantage of man-up opportunities.

Hopkins scored their third goal of the period with just over a minute remaining when UMBC was called offside.

Otherise, the first period was filled with sloppy play from both teams, as errant ball movement led to multiple turnovers.

Peet Poillon scored 1:35 into the second period to bring the Retrievers within one.
