Election Day
By: Greg Dewey -

Maryland polls open at 7am on November 4th. (Board of Elections) While Maryland is probably going to be a “Blue” state the ballot measures for this election in Maryland are important to vote on. Perhaps the issue that has been talked about the most is Question 2, the referendum on slot machines in Maryland.

A recent poll (link) found that Marylanders are still split on the issue of slots. The campaign has cost millions and has exposed divisions among Maryland politicians. After years of bickering the ballot referendum will hopefully help to settle the issue so Maryland politicians can focus on more important things like infrastructure.

Recent polling data indicates that Obama is still holding a lead in key battleground states such as Ohio, Virginia, Pennsylvania. It will be interesting to see how the polls and electoral returns fare throughout the day.

Of course whoever wins the election one of the following scenarios in the video will take place. Enjoy!
