How do you feel about Governor O'Malley's proposed three percent tuition increase for USM students?

It is too much to ask of students.
It is understandable, but I’d rather not pay for it.
It is a great way to fund the University System of Maryland during a time with budget cuts.
I don’t know enough about it to have an opinion on the subject.

Coming to Theatres

Fantastic Mr. Fox [PG]

This stop-motion animated film from filmmaker Wes Anderson (The Royal Tenenbaums, The Darjeeling Limited) draws its story from Roald Dahl's book of the same name, and features George Clooney voicing Mr. Fox, who fights off evil farmers in order to keep his existence on their lands intact. It also features the voices of Meryl Streep, Bill Murray, Owen Wilson, and Jason Schwartzman. This has been getting great word of mouth, and also looks like unabashed fun. See.

Ninja Assassin [R]

Produced by the Wachowski Brothers and starring Korean pop singer Rain, Ninja Assassin tells the story of a ninja who gets caught up in a deadly game of cat-and-mouse with the society that trained him. This should be a fun movie at least, and should also be a visual thrill ride.

Old Dogs [PG]

Robin Williams and John Travolta play old bachelor friends who suddenly find themselves in over their heads when one of them finds that he has twins he didn't know about. This should be another bland family comedy that offers no originality, and should be avoided based solely on the principle that Travolta hasn't made a good movie in years.

The Road [PG]

Viggo Mortensen stars in this post-apocalyptic tale of a father and son who travel south to find safe haven in an otherwise bleak and dangerous world. I had the pleasure of seeing this film a month ago (And reviewed it for the paper), and I would be unhesitant to say that this could be the best film I've seen all year. If you can find this near you, see it.
