Senior Exit Exhibition

View the final projects from graduating seniors in The Center for Art, Design and Visual Culture. The exhibit reflects the interdisciplinary orientation and the technological focus of the Department of Visual Arts and provides the opportunity for undergraduate seniors to exhibit within a professional setting before leaving the University. Admission is free. The Center for Art, Design and Visual Culture is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is located in the Fine Arts Building. Dance, Technology and Puppetry Collide

On Saturday and Sunday, July 14 and 15, the Baltimore Dance Project will perform at the Creative Alliance at the Patterson. Strange Soup is a unique blend of dance, technology and puppetry. Choreographers Carol Hess and Doug Hamby join with puppetry director Colette Searls to present a program of riveting works. The Creative Alliance is located at 3134 Eastern Avenue, Baltimore MD 21224. On Saturday the 14th, the performance starts at 8 p.m. and will cost $15 for general admission, $12 to Creative Alliance members and students. On Sunday the 15th, the performance will be held at 3 p.m. and general admission will be reduced to $12 while Creative Alliance members and students can attend for just $10. Summer Session 2007

UMBC is offering two summer sessions, one from May 29 - July 6 and a second from July 9 - August 17. A typical semester is condensed into just six weeks. Students can enroll in up to 16 credits over the two summer sessions. Take a GFR, an upper level course, or one of the PE courses required for graduation. Online and hybrid courses are also offered.
